Charmin
Project: Charmin Micro-Site Design and Production
Overview: With help from the experiential marketing gurus at the gigunda group, Charmin set up a series of high-class public restrooms in downtown New York City to build product awareness. Integral to the promotion was an attractive micro-site to highlight and track the Charmin Restroom’s success. Included were an introductory animation, a mini-game, and a global map tracking visitors to the facility.
Creative: Artists ensured that everything about the site was on-brand and on-message. Hatchling’s animation department conceptualized, boarded, and produced the introductory animation to match Charmin’s popular bear mascots.
Technical: Flash was used exclusively for both the animation, game and front-end of all dynamic services for the website. Hatchling partnered with Procter & Gamble's technical agency of record to develop a comprehensive backend system based on PHP and XML technology. This back-end administrative application was built to allow the Client to manage all dynamic content from the retail store location.
